How we do it
Step One: Initial Consultation
First, I will meet with you to discuss your needs and concerns. The consultation is an on-site meeting that gives me a sense of your space, what pleases you, what you struggle with and your individual taste and style. During our first meeting, we will discuss your goals and priorities, review what is already working well, and what you would like to change.
Initial Impressions – The Plan
Within one week of the consultation you will have a written plan outlining the tangible steps required to reach your goals. In many cases, this may be all you need. You will have the plan and you can implement it within your timeframes using our services on an as needed basis. Many clients prefer this self directed approach.
Step Two: Implementing 'The Plan'
If more work is required, a detailed plan can be developed following my visit to your home or office. The plan will outline the tasks that need to be completed and who will assume them (you, me, us or a contractor). We will schedule the work to best suit your time frame and needs. Your participation and feedback are an essential part of the process. Follow-up consultations can be arranged to keep you on track. I will discuss the plan with you and make up to two sets of revisions. Once the plan is agreed to, we will set up milestones that are realistic and feasible.
Step Three: Check & Improve
What is working, what isn't. Modifications to the plan may be required. I will call and coach you on the implementation of the plan. I can work with you, as required. What is working, what isn't. At the end of an agreed upon timeframe we will hold a maintenance consultation at your home or office to tie up any loose ends, establish systems for remaining clutter-free in the future, and assess anything else that you need to do.
